How a Manor membership works
Last updated October 15, 2026.
The short version
- Manor is $36 a year for your whole family (our founding price; the regular price is $99), plus sales tax where it applies. Founding families keep $36 every year they renew.
- Your first 7 days are free. We email you 3 days before they end, and if you cancel before then you pay nothing.
- After that it renews each year until you cancel. Cancel any time in the app, in a couple of taps.
- If you’re charged and change your mind, ask within 7 days for a full refund.
Who Manor is for
Manor is made for parents and the adults who raise children. An adult makes the account and pays; children use Manor with you and don’t have accounts of their own. One membership covers everyone in your household.
Ways into Manor
- A membership: $36 a year, as described below.
- A code from a friend or one of our offers. A code opens Manor without a card for the time it says, usually a year. When it ends, Manor closes for your family unless you choose to become a member. Nothing is charged automatically.
- Founding families, who used Manor before memberships began, keep their access with nothing to pay.
The free week
Your first membership starts with 7 days free, once per family. You add a card when you start, and nothing is charged during those days. We email you 3 days before the free week ends. If you cancel before it ends, you won’t be charged at all. If you don’t, your first year begins and your card is charged $36 plus any sales tax. A family that has had Manor before, through a code or an earlier membership, starts paying from the first day.
Paying and renewing
Payments are handled by Stripe; Manor never sees your card number. Your membership renews automatically each year on the same date, at $36 plus any sales tax, until you cancel. Your bank statement and Stripe’s receipts may show the name Readle: Manor’s payments run through that account. If the yearly price ever changes, we’ll tell you by email at least 30 days before your next renewal, so you can decide whether to stay.
Canceling
Cancel any time in Manor: open the menu, then Membership, then Manage. You can also email us and we’ll do it for you. After you cancel, Manor stays open to the end of the year you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
Refunds
If you’re charged, for your first year or a renewal, and you’d rather not have been, email hello@getmanor.org from the address you sign in with within 7 days of the charge. We’ll refund all of it, tax included, and your membership will end. After 7 days we don’t refund, but you can always cancel so you’re not charged again.
Using what’s in Manor
Manor’s lessons, recordings, questions and writing are ours. The old stories and paintings in them are in the public domain and stay that way; Bible passages are from the Berean Standard Bible. Use Manor at home and with your family as much as you like. Please don’t copy, sell or share Manor’s own lessons and recordings outside your household. Keep your sign-in to your family.
The fine print
We work to keep Manor running well, and we keep improving it, which means lessons and features will change over time. Manor is provided as it is, and we can’t promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, our responsibility to you is limited to what you’ve paid us in the last 12 months. We may close an account that’s used to harm others or to copy Manor; if we do, we’ll refund the unused part of your year. How we handle your family’s information is in our privacy page.
Changes and questions
If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and its date, and tell you by email first if the change matters to your membership. Questions are welcome at hello@getmanor.org.
